We are so excited to announce that we have received funding from London Catalyst to continuing offering our service in Hackney, and run out our coaching programme in a brand new (for us) borough- Tower Hamlets! We will be working closely with our partners the City and Hackney Carers Centre and Carers Centre Tower Hamlets to make sure our offer meets the most pressing needs of the carers they are supporting at this difficult time. We know that Covid-19 restrictions have limited the opportunities for carers to think about themselves and work towards their own health and wellbeing goals, as many of them are shielding or living with those who are. That’s why this funding couldn’t have come at a better time!
As former carers and coaches with many years’ experience of working with carers, we have seen that coaching-based approaches can offer much-needed support to stressed out carers that also enables them to profoundly transform their lives. Our work provides a safe place to talk about life as a carer, support to make change, work towards goals, and make them a reality. Thank you to London Catalyst for understanding and supporting the needs of our unpaid carers at this time.
